The “hands and hearts” of IVC’s volunteers are evident in a wide range of ministries throughout our nation’s Capital and the contiguous Maryland counties. Among those we support are: people who are developmentally challenged and mentally retarded; immigrants and refugees; children needing education and support services; the elderly; those needing food assistance; victims of domestic abuse; adults in need of day care and assisted living services; prisoners and ex-offenders reentering society; the dying; and the homeless.
