The Ignatian Volunteer Corps of St. Louis is a dynamic group of retired and semi-retired individuals who volunteer at agencies that serve people who are poor.
- Currently, nearly 30 IVC volunteers are contributing 2 days or 16 hours of service to 20 agencies throughout the St. Louis area.
- Our IVC volunteers meet monthly for prayer and conversation in the tradition of Ignatian spirituality, and celebrate Mass together.
- Spiritual reflectors meet with our volunteers once a month to discuss their service experiences in light of our faith.
The IVC experience is a powerful blend of spirituality and service, inviting the volunteer to grow as he or she assists in meeting the needs of the underserved in our area.
