Welcome to IVC St. Louis

Entering its second year of service to the St. Louis Region, IVC St. Louis has more than doubled in size, positioning volunteers in grade schools, prison ministry, and in legislative advocacy on behalf of the poor.  Ignatian volunteers commit to work two days a week in service to the poor, from mid-September through June. They meet monthly to reflect on their experience of service in the light of prayer and a book read in common.  Our communal prayer and reflection in the Ignatian tradition opens fresh perspectives on faith, nurtures our hope, and empowers us to make charity a way of being

If you have a desire to give back, if you are curious about Ignatian spirituality, if you have ever thought about attempting Christian service, or desire to see God in action, check out the Ignatian Volunteer Corps.  We are a community who support each other in service, through reflection and shared experience.
